Vigan. Its mere mention sends shivers down my spine. Not that it brings back any scary memory, it's just that this place intrigues me so much, it's my second favorite place in the Philippines. Of course Baguio is the first.
On the third week of this month, I plan to go there to relax, take come pics, forget stress, worries and my love-hate (Don't ask) relationship with my boyfriend.
Must make ipon. Must browse the net for places to stay. Places to go...
The mere thought of going back there again makes me wanna pee. Excited na akooooo! (Sana makaipon)
I miss the bibingka, calamay, longganisa...
For the meantime, enjoy photos of Vigan from Laz'Andre, Rhyss_zel and oggie pogie

Vigan Longganisaaaaa! My peborit!
Nakit mo ba kami ng misis ko sa La Union? Wait, Monday kami pumunta... andun ka rin ba? Kami yung pogi at maganda sa crowd hehehe!
I've been to Vigan. Really nice place full of history. Of course the main destination there is the cobblestone street with Antillan houses flanking each side. The souvenirs on that street are waaay overpriced.
There are however stores in the vicinity that sell it cheaper. I remember a place where they made pottery and sold it cheap. I also remember going to a belfry (ala Noli me Tangere) which overlooked a cemetery (spooky) Its not in Vigan proper but very near.
Two words of advice:
On a regular day there, it is exTREMEly hot. wear sunblock.
and 2, never ever ride on one of their Kalesas (even if the driver(?) gives you a bargain or something) We got shocked by the fee we were charged.
Have fun in Vigan! Pasalubong. hehe
ICE - Vigan is a nice place. I've been there two times already. Although that time, I had no interest in photography and I just went there for the food hehehe.
WATSON - Peyborit ko rin ang longganisa. Da best talaga hehehe! Oh Monday pala. We were there Friday yata (??) Sorry, short term memory not working :)
ALTERNATI - Thanks so much for the info. I'd bring my favorite sunblock. My payong hehehe :) I rode on the kalesa before pero my father paid for it so no worries. This time though, I have to really save money to survive my trip there hehehe
don't forget to grab some empanadas also.Ü
